I've been experimenting and working on getting my workspace (physical, Photoshop, and Cintiq) setup in a more efficient manner over the past couple days. But I did do a new fun lil sketchup so I would have something to post.

P.S. Blogger does some yucky compression to my graphics that I never noticed it doing before. Maybe something new? I don't see a setting to change it anywhere. I will probably have to start uploading my pictures elsewhere.

Ghost of Christmas Past

I was shopping at Meijer today and of course they had ALL the Christmas stuff out (they had a few things out before Halloween even!). Made me remember about this lil guy. I am 95% sure everyone who knows about this blog receieved a copy of it, but oh well, I wanted to post it anyways since I still love it. I missed Christmas 2007 ... there will be a Christmas 2008 edition. I'll make sure to start "early" this year. :-)

Yes, these are the kinds of images that form in my head. This is just a small piece to a larger project. You asked for it. You told me to sketch. This is what you get :-)

No..no sketches. But moving in the right direction :-)

At least I am opening Photoshop again :-) I finally started looking at the "actions" in Photoshop CS3 for automating processes. And I made one that worked, yay! Just need to pick a foreground and background color, press f4, and wah-la, borders with logo. Obviously I didn't batch process these ones since each photo has its own color combo, but I did play around with the batch settings, so I do know how to do it now :-) Fun stuff.
